Riti Patel

General Manager

Riti leads the paid digital marketing team at the largest online heavy equipment auction company Ritchie Brothers where she manages the company’s $10M budget for SEM/SEO strategies. Previously, Riti managed GEICO’s internal information technology investments where she reviewed earlier investment decisions, forecasted future financial needs and analyzed investment and development proposals to help refine allocation of resources and their alignment with business goals. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston downtown campus and graduate degree from Harvard University where she studied Information Systems.

Kurt Van Etten, Advisor

Prior to RedSeal Kurt had extensive experience with small merchants at both PayPal and eBay. At PayPal Kurt was responsible for developing solutions for Merchant Risk, Resolutions and Protections between eBay and off eBay buyers and sellers. Additionally, Kurt has held positions at Symantec, Motorola and as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS with honors from the United States Naval Academy.

Colin Sims, Advisor

Colin worked in a variety of divisions of investment banks on Wall Street for ten years before pursuing a career as an entrepreneur, first as CFO of, then COO of, followed by his current position as CFO of Forter. Colin holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Mark Cramer, Advisor

CEO, Rank Dynamics | VP of Products, Squelch

Mark Cramer is VP of Products at Squelch, an enterprise software startup. Prior to that he founded Rank Dynamics with the goal of transforming search from static lists of links into dynamic conversations in which the results move in response to real-time user signals. He has more than 20 years of technology industry experience, from engineer to executive, at companies including Hewlett-Packard in Grenoble, France and several start-ups in the Bay Area, such as Keynote Systems, NexTag and NetGeo, where he was CEO. Mark earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, where one of his projects included developing a search engine from scratch, and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ash searches for investment opportunities at Buckhill, a middle market impact focused investment firm. Ash also developed and founded Callitme – a peer-reviewed network where you find and meet trustworthy people looking to expand their circle of friends and NepaliVivah – the largest platform for Nepali singles to meet and marry. He also led the digital strategy efforts for the King of Nepal.
